SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR WATER PARK
From 1 June to 15 September, two lifeguards take turns to supervise the pools and water slides during the day while you are on holiday.
The water park is not a daycare centre. An adult must be present if minors wish to use the facilities. Even when lifeguards are on duty during the mid and high summer season!
7 WATER PARK RULES THAT MUST BE RESPECTED
1. Only campers who have rented accommodation or pitches can enjoy our aquatic oasis. Intruders will be chased off with flippers.
2. Guests must shower before using the pool area .
3. Unaccompanied children will not be admitted.
4. Children’s swimming is under the responsibility of the parents. This is the case even when lifeguards are on duty between June and September.
5. Remember that the pool remains a potentially dangerous place.
6. Please put any rubbish in the bin to keep the water park clean.
7. The pool is free, but keep spectacular dive-bombs at bay. The consequences could be splashy!
It may be tempting in our water park, but best not to break the pool rules!
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF THE WATER PARK THAT MUST BE RESPECTED
1. “Take off your shoes and be free.”
Shoes are not allowed in the water park. Because walking barefoot is much better for connecting with nature and pottering through chlorinated water.
2. “Swimwear, the ultimate summer fashion”.
Pool rule: show off your best, but well-fitting swimwear. Please note that swimming shorts go against the pool’s hygiene rules and are strictly prohibited.
3. “Animals in the zoo, not in the pool”.
Pets are not allowed, unless you can persuade your goldfish to wear swimming goggles.
4. “No smoke, just waves.”
Smoking is prohibited. Because the only thing that should be on fire here
is the water slide.
5. “Eating by the pool – a sink or swim issue.”
Eating or bringing your own food is forbidden. Because here, we prefer our dishes sprinkled with splashes rather than mayonnaise.
6. “Silence is golden (especially underwater).”
Playing music/listening to radios, etc is prohibited. Because the only lapping we want to hear is that of the waves.
7. “Armbands yes, inflatable pink flamingo no”.
Inflatable accessories are limited to armbands for younger children. Because nobody needs a giant swan blocking the slide.
8. “No poolside footies games.”
Ball games are forbidden. Unless you’re prepared to explain to the other swimmers how you managed to score a goal with a buoy.
9. “Swim like a fish, not like a scuba diver.”
Flippers and snorkels must be left a your base. Because we are not remaking Finding Nemo here, and we want to see your pretty face.
10. “No crazy racing, unless you’re being chased by a giant duck.”
Running, jumping, diving and pushing others in the pool are strictly forbidden. Unless you have been chosen to take part in the annual ‘Escape the Giant Duck’ fantasy race.
So be it, oh merry swimmers, and may the law of the water park be etched in chlorine for all eternity!
